Kayla Soles is the Ninjas and Witches hitting coach. 

Kayla was a New Egypt HS graduate in 2011 and two time State Champion where she was a four year first team all-state player in softball and field hockey.   She attended the University of Louisville where she was a four year starting third baseman and centerfielder on a top 25 ranked team in NCAA Women’s Division 1 softball.  While at Louisville she helped the Cardinals earn conference championships in 2012 and 2014.   All four years Kayla earned NFCA Academic All American honors graduating Cum Laude with a 3.9 GPA.  In  2014 she earned  AAC  All-Conference Honors, AAC All-Tournament Team Honors, and lead the conference and the  Cardinals in batting avg. 393, and .721 slugging percentage including 9 home runs  and over 40 RBI.  She started 190 games for UofL and played in the NCAA Regionals all four years of her career.  Kayla was captain of the Cardinals softball team her final two years. 

In addition Kayla is also an experienced hitting instructor. She has been working each summer giving private and team hitting instruction.  Kayla also served as an assistant coach for the New Jersey Breakers Gold with her father, Dave Soles, for three full seasons prior to joining the Ninjas staff.
