Angela Parascando  manager of Wiches Futures team.

Angela was a 4-year varsity starter at Lawrence High school where she was a pitcher, center fielder and catcher.  She graduated in 2009 but not before breaking 5 school offensive records including: most doubles in a season and career, most home runs in a season and career, and most triples in a career.

She continued her education at Penn State University - Main Campus. However, after completing her first semester, she came home and attended Mercer County Community College for a year where she played softball for the 2010 season. The team went on to win
the Region XIX tournament and advanced to the JUCO World Series in Illinois. She ended the season with a .326 batting average.

Unfortunately, this was Angela’s last season playing softball as she suffered a knee injury that made it difficult for her to get back onto the field. However, that did not stop her from staying involved in the game when she went back to Penn State. Her senior year she became the team manager of the Division I Nittany Lion softball team. She graduated in May 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Science in kinesiology.
